Twins and trucks

This weekend we got to meet the boys' twin second-cousins for the first time. Cameron and Christopher live in New Hampshire so this was their first trip to Virginia. Our family was very excited to see them. It was neat to get all four boys together, but not too easy to get them all in the same picture... forget getting them to look at the camera! The boys got to play together for a while on Saturday.

On Sunday there was a party for Cameron and Christopher at the fire station. Of course, Brady and Ian were thrilled to get up on the fire trucks. They kept asking to go back and see the trucks - I think they went a total of 3 times!

They even got to "drive" one of the trucks.


Ian is a little scared of heights, so he wouldn't sit up with Brady. He still had plenty of fun!
The boys were sad to leave the fire station. This morning we were looking at pictures and I mentioned that we'd get to go back to the fire station at Christmas. Ian said, "When Santa comes."
