Wow, it's hard to believe that 2 1/2 years have gone by already! These boys are growing up too fast! Here are some of the things they're up to these days.
- As always, they still love to read! They always start and end the day with reading, and have plenty of stories throughout the day. They are now able to "read" us some books. They have a couple of books almost entirely memorized. For some other books, they'll turn the pages and summarize the story. It is so much fun to hear the stories through their eyes.
- They've learned most of their letters and some of their numbers.
- They are really into finding things that are the same color. As an example, they'll say things like "Green cup matches Ian's shirt."
- They have enjoyed playing outside so much this summer. They love to play with their golf clubs and to ride their tricycles (at Nana and Granddad's house) and ride their Big Wheels at our house. Their legs are finally long enough to pedal some on their own!
- They still love to eat at Cracker Barrel. These boys can really pack away some serious food! Just Thursday evening, Brady almost cleaned his entire plate (chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, corn, applesauce, slaw and a biscuit).
- They have given up sucking a stuffed animal (Ian) and a thumb (Brady) except for at bedtime.
- And, as always, they are the best of friends!
