Snow, snow, and more snow

This is what our house has looked like for most of the last seven weeks:

We have had quite a winter! After the huge storm on 12/18, the snow finally melted away a month later. We saw the grass for about a week and a half before the 1/30 storm. That snow never left us. We got another huge storm yesterday, and it's still snowing today! These pictures are from Sunday 1/31, which wound up being a great day for playing in the snow. The wind was calm and the sun kept us nice and warm.

First, Ian and Brady (with their sand shovels) helped Jeremy shovel the driveway.


It took a lot of effort to climb to the top of the hill, but it must have been worth it. The boys rode their sleds down the hill over and over.
