Brady and Ian turned 3 on Monday. They were so excited to wake up and realize that it was finally their birthday! They got to open their presents as soon as they woke up and came downstairs. The boys got some new books, a game, a puzzle, a Hot Wheels race track, and some walkie-talkies. Jeremy put the race track in their room and they play with it each morning before they go downstairs. They haven't quite mastered how to use the walkie-talkies yet!
We are so amazed at how well the boys do with their puzzles. The new puzzle is 60 pieces and they can put it together in about 10 minutes.
Ian and Brady wanted a dump truck cake this year, so we planned their party around that theme. They were thrilled with their cake. While I was working on it they kept asking me if it was finished yet.
Because of the weather and surgeries for Granddad and Pop, we just had a small family party this year. Hopefully we can have everyone over for cake and ice cream at some point.
The boys opened some more presents at Nana and Granddad's house. They loved their indoor golf set. This will give them plenty of practice for playing putt-putt at the beach!
They finally got to eat their cake and ice cream, and they cleaned their plates. It took quite a while to get them to sleep that evening.
Happy Birthday, boys! We love you so much!
