Working puzzles is one of the boys' favorite things to do. The only problem is, they are way too fast! They can work a 24-piece puzzle by themselves in about 5 minutes, so they go through several a day. We got them a 35-piece puzzle and they can now work that one by themselves in about 10 minutes. Now they have a 60-piece puzzle. They worked on it one evening until their attention span gave out, then came back to it the next morning and finished it. Their favorite puzzle is the one in the first picture. They call it the "cars one".
When the boys get into the groove of working a puzzle, they start speaking gibberish to each other in sing-song tones. This video shows them doing this on two separate days. It also shows them applauding themselves at the end, which is what they do every time they finish a puzzle.
