Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the four of us! Here is this year's picture of the boys for any of you who missed it. Not too great, but the best we could do with 2 squirmy boys. At least they were both smiling - that's no small feat!
It's our tradition to get together with the Simpkins side of the family on Christmas Eve. The dinner is held at the Riner Fire Department. The first thing the boys went for was the tree.

The boys love any kind of special vehicle like a bus, ambulance, etc. They were thrilled to get to see all of the fire trucks! This is Ian making his "wee-oo" noise for the siren. He and Brady both make this noise whenever they see a fire truck, ambulance, or police car.
After dinner, the only thing the boys wanted to do was go back and see the fire trucks again.
They got to climb the ladder:

The highlight of their evening was getting to sit in the fire truck with Granddad. They even got to honk the horn.
We had a hard time getting them to sleep that night! Jeremy and I stayed up until 1 AM putting together their Big Wheels and their new train set.

So cute! Andrew was into the unwrapping this year but once he got a present he liked it was hard to get him to open anything else.
