Weekend with Uncle Nelson and Aunt Sopa

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted - we've been quite busy lately! Uncle Nelson and Aunt Sopa came for a visit a couple of weekends ago and got to spend a lot of time with the boys. The weather was gorgeous and we got to stay outside for a good part of the weekend. The boys were very happy to have so much attention and to get so much time outdoors.

Aunt Sopa took Brady and Ian for a couple of rides in their stroller. This is about the only way to get a picture of them together nowadays!

They wanted to help push the stroller back into the garage.

They took a wagon ride with Aunt Sopa after their nap (Brady is still half asleep in this picture).

Here is Brady's serious/contemplative face.
Thousands of pictures in a year and a half, but I think this (below) may be my favorite picture of Brady ever.
Here's Ian playing peek-a-boo with Aunt Sopa.
Of course Brady had to do it too. Too bad he didn't realize that if you don't hide behind the tree from the start, there's not much point in peeking. We celebrated Aunt Sopa's birthday a few days early with dinner and a yummy ice cream cake from Coldstone Creamery. It had been a long time since the boys had cake, so they gobbled it up!
Ian was a little surprised to see how cold it was...
...but that didn't stop him from enjoying every last bite.
After getting a quick change of clothes the boys played with Aunt Sopa's helium balloons.
Uncle Nelson read Ian one of his favorite books.
